Lisa Ricker, CPDT-KA, ABCDT

 

I am a long time dog guardian and lover of all animals.  As a graduate of Animal Behavior College, I am dedicated to providing training through positive reinforcement techniques.  

 

I work as a Trainer in the Behavior and Enrichment Department for the SPCA of Westchester.  I work alongside our other dedicated training staff working with the dogs doing basic training, socialization and behavior modification.  I also strive to make the best possible connections between families and one of the shelters many wonderful dogs and oversee our adoption counselors. I also work with dogs and their handlers in the Golden Outreach Program.    

 

I am a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and A Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed as well as  Fear Free Certified

 

I live in Mount Kisco, NY with my husband, Steve and our three dogs, Brutus, Peter, and Xena as well as a turtle or two.
